Departments & Institutes Support Unit
The Departments & Institutes Support Unit (USDI) advises and provides management support and services to the activity of the management and the governing bodies of the Departments and Institutes that are part of the Camins Area. It responds to the demands of the staff of these academic units in accordance with university management regulations and the applicable legal framework following the guidelines of the UPC and the person responsible for the Camins Area Management & Support Unit, in order to guarantee an effective, efficient and sustainable service to all users.
Functions
- Support to the Management and governing bodies of Departments and Institutes
- Support for strategic planning
- Support for the planning of the academic year
- Recruitment of Research & Teaching Personnel
- Research & Teaching personnel public exams
- Personnel management support
- Information and administrative assessment of Research & Teaching Personnel
- Preparation, execution and control of the annual budget. Invoicing of the units's internal services
- Purchase and management of expendable materials and fixed assets
- Management of equipment, vehicles, telephony, furniture, readerss, lockers
- Management and conditioning of spaces linked to the units: renovations, refurbishment of offices and rooms, access to buildings and roofs, keys, reservations of spaces, assignation of workspaces and tables
- Management of the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering files
